1. International club

 

첫번 째로 소개할 동아리는 바로 International Club 인데요! International Club는 매달마다 한 나라에 대한 프레젠테이션과 그 나라의 음식들을 가져와 소개하는 동아리이에요. 제가 교환학생라서 한국에 대해 소개하고 싶고 다른 나라에 대해서 또 알고 친구들도 사귀고 싶어서 가입한 동아리에요!

   3월에는 한국에 대해서 소개했는데요, 저희 나라에 대해서 알릴 수 있는 기회여서 흥미로웠습니다! 그리고 김밥이랑 떡볶이를 만들어서 가지고 갔는데 친구들이 다 맛있다고 해서 뿌듯했어요XD지금까지 친구들과 제가 소개한 나라들은 멕시코,캐나다,한국,오스트레일리아,핀란드,영국,중국 등 정말 다양한 나라들을 소개했어요.
The first club is International Club! It is a club that has a meeting in every month,introducing picked country for the month and bringing the country's food. I joined this club because I am a foreign exchange student and wanted to make more friends and know about the other countries and also one of my friends recommended this club.

I'd introduced about Korea in March 20th,2013. It was meaningful to inform my country to friends and teachers. And I made Kimbob and Tteokbbokki for this month's meeting. All of the friends who are in this club love them ^^.

 With Ms. French

제가 좋아하는 선생님들 중 한분이신 Ms. French ! 이 선생님은 스페인어 선생님이신데요, 제가 이 선생님 수업은 안 들었지만, 친구의 추천으로 들어가게 된 클럽인데, 선생님이 너무 좋으세요! 외국어를 가르치는 선생님 답게 여러 나라에 대해 관심이 많으시고, 또 여러 나라도 여행을 다녀봐셨대요! 일본이랑 중국은 가보셨다지만 한국은 아직 가보신 적이 없으시다해서 한국도 여행하기 정말 좋은 나라라고 추천했는데, 나중에 한번 꼭 가보고 싶다고 하셨어요!
This is Ms.French who is one of my favorite teachers in school. And she is teaching foreign languages as Spanish and German. She is really interested in other countries and cultures. And also she has been alot of countries. But she hasn't been Korea yet ,even though she said she's been Japan and China. So I said to her that you should come visit Korea oneday which woule be very nice trip. And she said she should!

4월에는 다른친구들이 캐나다 프레젠테이션과 음식을 준비해왔는데요. 캐나다에 대해 잘 몰랐어서 흥미로웠던 시간이었던 것 같아요. 캐나다 음식으로 가져온 튀긴 빵은 약간 꽈배기 맛도 나서 맛있었어요!

Canada was the country for April, so some students brought some food of Canada and introduced about Canada. It was interesting to know Canada because I don't know alot of the country. They brought some fried bread for Canada's food.

 그리고 5월 15일! 이 날이 이 클럽의 마지막 날이었어요..ㅠ 그동안 정도 많이들고 친해졌는데 이제 더이상 동아리 미팅이 없다니.. 슬프네요ㅜ 마지막이라서 친구들이 각자 자기가 하고 싶은 나라를 정하고 그 나라의 음식을 가져왔어요! 저는 한국을 또 하고 싶어서 한국을 하고 싶다고 하고 군만두랑 조금 더 진화된(?)김밥을 만들어서 가져갔는데요, 친구들이 정말 좋아했어요. 어떤 친구는 나중에 김밥이랑 결혼 한다고 할 정도로요 ㅋㅋ. 그리고 미처 저번 한국을 소개 했을 때 못했던 내용들을 알릴 수 있어서 좋았어요. 

May 15th! The day was the last day of Internatioanl Club..:(. It is very sad that there is no more meeting to hang out the friends who have been friendly with me since I joined this club at this club. We picked picked each country we'd like to introduce ourselves and brought the country's food for the last meeting! I picked Korea to introduce what I haven't done the last time. So I brought advanced Kimbob and Fried Mandoo for korean foods. The friends really like it. Some of them said she is going to marry it.

이 번에 소개해 드릴 FCCLA 동아리는 이에요! FCCLA 는Family Consumer   로서 약간 가정수업같은 동아리에요.또한 FCCLA는 미국 전역에 퍼져있는 가장 흔한 동아리 중 하나라서 여러미팅이 많아요. 그래서 작년 11월 15일 부터 17일 까지 인디애나에 있는 인디애나폴리스라고 큰 도시에 가서 호텔에 머물면서 호텔에서 여러가지 동아리에 대한 활동들과 만남도 가졌어요! 처음에는 이런  여행이 있는 지 모르고 지나칠 뻔 했었는데 담당 선생님께서 저에게 이런 작은 여행이있는데 할 의양이 있으면 자기한테 말하라고 해서 친구들이랑 시간도 보내고 재밌을 것 같아서 신청했는데, 예상대로 친구들과 선생님들과 같이 가서 맛있는 것도 먹고 여러가지 재밌는 것도 하고 쇼핑도 하고 즐거운 시간을 보냈어요!
  This club I'm introducing is FCCLA. This is shorted words of Family Consumer. It is a club that does like cooking, family things. There are a lot of meeting of this club because It is very common and spread in the American Highschool. So I and my school's FCCLA people had been one of the meeting which held at Indianapolis, Indiana by staying 2 days,1 night at the nice hotel. We've gotten many meetings and activities.
I didn't know that this little trip was going on, but this club's teacher informed me that this meeting is going on so let her know If I want to go. So I said to her want to go because it would be fun and new by going other place and hanging out with my friends. As expected, We really had great with each other by going out to eat and doing fun stuff.

만약 동아리에 이런 여행이 있으면 가는 거를 정말 추천해요! 이런 걸로 여러 군데도 갈 수 있고 또 친구들이랑 재밌는 시간을 보낼 수 있으니까요:)!
I really recommend If you have trips like this in your school Because you can have fun to go fun places and hang out with the club friends!

  3. Choir competition in Chicago

(April 12-14th,2013)
 

With Band and Choir
 이번에는 4월에 시카고에서 한 합창단대회인데요! 합창단 수업을 들으면서 몇몇 합창단 대회를 나갈 수 있는 기회가 있었는데, 시카고가 그 중에 하나에요.이 여행은 돈을 내고 가야하는 거라서 꼭 가야하는 거는 아니었는데, 시카고 가서 대회만 하고 바로 집 오는게 아니라 하루정도 더 머물면서 시카고 구경도 한다고 선생님께서 말씀하셔서 이왕 미국 온김에 시카고도 가보고 싶어서 신청해서 가게되었어요.  마침 그 대회에 밴드대회도 있어서 학교밴드랑 합창단에서 신청한 친구들이랑 같이 갔어요!

This is the choir and band competition in Chicago! I've had several chances to go competition, this one is one of them. It requires money so it wasn't mandatory. But I applied the trip because the trip is not only for competition, but also we can hang out in chicago after competition for a day and I wanted to go Chicago. Band has their competition too, so we went together.

Navi Pier in Chicago

 미국의 유명한 도시 중 하나인 시카고에 가서 새로운 대회를 치르는 것도 또다른 경험이었고, 또 상까지 타서 정말 좋은 2박3일을 보냈어요! 또 대회가 끝난 후에는 친구들이랑 시카고 구경도 하고, 기념품도 사고 정말 재밌는 시간을 보냈습니다.

It was new experience to get competition by going in Chicago which is one of the most famous cities in America. And also it is meaningful to get the prize. I had really great 3 days, 2nights with friends in Chicago. We hung out and looked around Chicago and bought some souvenirs.

 

 

 

얼마 전에 밴드와 합창단이 마지막 작은 콘서트를 열어서 그때 동영상을 찍었는데 그거를 캡쳐한 사진이에요! 벌써 마지막이라니..아쉽기도하고 시원하기도 하네요. 이날에는 밝은 노래를 불러서 박수도 치고 관중석으로 걸어도 나가고 재밌었어요 ㅋㅋ
