My school system is little different from other school. It has block, not class. Well, there’s no different, just longer than class. 1 block is 84 min and 6 min for break. So have 4 classes for a day. I think it is good system because in here the students have to move. Everyone remember after break, chatting, laughing, and ext.

1st block- Chemistry (Mrs. Liette)
For me chemistry is the hardest subject. Usually I spend most of my time to work for chem. (=chemistry). But we have lots of lab like chromatography, separate mixture, and produce electromagnetic radiation. It is the difference between Korea and America. It is hard but fun. Sometimes (average 2 times a week) I go to ask her about class after school she always smile and explain very nicely. I’ve never thought that I can get A in this class, so when I got A at the first nine weeks, I was so happy. Actually it was made by extra credit, though. Extra credit for fist nine weeks was watches the video about Einstein and answers the question.

2nd block- Trigonometry (Mr. Robson)
This is my favorite class. I didn’t like math when I was in Korea but in here I love it. Everyday he gives us homework and most of that goes to grade. The real name of this class is “Probability/Statistics/Trigonometry”, but Mr. Robson likes to call Trig. We use graphing calculator (TI-83), which can draw graph. It cost $100 and he said I don’t have to buy that calculator for one class, so I usually borrowed his calculator. And few weeks ago my sister Erin remembered that she has one (TI-85), so I’m using hers. We have exam once in 1~2weeks. It is not so hard if you do well in the class and homework. And sometimes he gives some extra credit questions at end of the exam paper.

Lunchtime
Eat lunch at 11:00. Everyone think it is too early but the problem is that everyone feels hungry that time. When we sit at round table, we don’t have to move and can’t move except go library, restroom, and office. When we sit at long table, we have to go gym after finish lunch.

3rd block- Government (Mr. Miller)
This class is quite hard but fun. At the first time even try to read the book was hard. And everyday after read the chapter has quiz. It is not surprise that I got 77% at the very fist exam. But listen the class really carefully and studies everyday before learn helps a lot. And I’m sure that he gives me some curves (maybe a lot..-_-;;) in exam and quiz. And have extra credit after exam that can work with together.

4th block- Independent Living/Meal Time Mastery (Mrs. Post)
This class is very easy. In the First nine weeks name was Independent Living and I learn about the things I have to care my self to be independent. The exam was open book which is we could use our books for the exam. And 2nd nine week, we are cooking! Most of them are cookies and cakes. Those are really good. Everyday we eat some and take some to home. Then Rick and Denise eat and say it’s very good.

To go home I take school bus. It takes much longer than our car but everyone has to go work I have to take school bus. When I miss my bus because of chem. Stephanie takes me to home.
For 2nd semester I choose Chemistry 2, English, American History and Gym class. But I like math in here, I changed my gym class to Pre calculus.
