 안녕하세요! 하니에듀 본사 공립교환 26기 김예진입니다! 이제 한국 돌아갈 날이 진짜 얼마 안 남았네요..ㅠ 정들었던 사람들과 헤어질 생각과 한국에 있는 친구들과 가족을 만날 생각에 시원섭섭한 기분이 드네요!비록 여러가지 한국과 다른 점들로 인해 힘든 적도 있었지만, 지금와서 생각해보면
그런 것들 덕분에 더 성숙해 질 수 있었던 소중한 시간들이었던 것 같아요!

Hi! I am Yejin Kim for exchange student from 26th Han! I have only few days left to go back to Korea.. :(. It is so sad I have to say goodbye to the people who have gotten friendly with me for a while but also excited to meet my family and friends in Korea! The days are precious that they have made me to get more mature, even though it was hard because of the differences between America and Korea.

제가 이번에 소개해드릴 주제는 바로 여행이에요! 앞으로 미국에 올 일이 그렇게 많이 있을 것 같지도 않고, 미국에 왔으니 여행을 가보는 게 교환학생의 1년을 잘 보냈다고 할 수 있겠죠! 그래서 Belo라는 여행사가 진행하는 Belo Trip to NewYork을 신청하게 되어서 3월 30일부터 4월3일까지 갔다왔어요! 처음에는 다 다른 나라에서 오는 교환학생들이랑 여행을 하는거고, 오로지 영어로만 소통이 가능 해니까 좀 망설여 졌는데요, 하지만 오히려 그런 점들이 더 여행을 의미있게 할 수 있을 것 같아서 신청하게 되어서 가게되었는데, 예상보다 영어도 잘 통하고,외국인들과 여행을 같이 다니는 등 앞으로 다시는 경험하지 못할 그런 경험들을 하고 왔던 것 같아요! 다행히도 이 기간의 저희학교의 봄방학이라서 학교 결석을 안 하고 좋은 시간을 보냈어요.

The topic is Trip! It is good to say I was for exchange student in America with Trips! and I don't think there is more chance to stay in America this long. So I applied to Belo NewYrok
Trip from March 30th to April 3rd ! Actually, I hesitated to go this trip, because I was going to have to be with foreigners by speaking only English to communicate with them. However, they made the trip even more meaningful and much better. So I've gotten experiences that I will never have like hanging out with foreinger from various countries by talking in English. And fortunately

 I wasn't absent the school during this trip because the days were in my school's spring break.

3월 30일(March 30th, 2013)

드디어 기다리고 기다렸던 그날! 뉴욕여행을 하러 비행기를 타고 갔어요. 첫째날은 각자 다른 주에서 교환학생들이 와서 도착하는 시간이 다르니까 그 친구들 기다리고 오리엔테이션 하는 날 이었어요! 한국은 물론 노르웨이,중국,일본,멕시코,이탈리아,프랑스,독일,대만,태국 등등 다양한 나라의 교환학생들이 와서 짧지만 서로에 대해서 소개하고, 사진도찍고 그렇게 첫날을 보냈어요!
Finally the day I'd been waiting so badly! I got the flight to NewYork. The first day was actually
nothing because of waiting for the other exchange students from other states and orientation.They are from variety countries, Italy,Brazile,Mexico,Japan,China,Taiwan,Thailand,Germany,France,Norway,etc.

3월 31일(March 31st,2013)

뉴욕으로 여행한 첫째날에는 록펠러센터,센트럴파크,콜롬비아 유니버시티, 메트로폴리탄 박물관,힙합클래스,타임스퀘어를 갔어요. 하루 안에 많은 곳을 가야해서 약간 피곤 하기는 했지만, 그동안 사진으로만 봤던 뉴욕의 유명한 곳을 직접 보니까 굉장하더라구요! 신기하기도 했구요, 내가 진짜로 뉴욕에 있구나하고 실감도 났었어요.
The very first day in NewYrok was for Rockfeller Center,Central Park,Columbia University,Metropolitan Museum of Art,Hiphop class,and TimeSquare. The places I'd been in NewYork were amazing and fabulous,though it was little bit tired to go alot of places. I felt like I am really in NewYork.

 가장 처음으로 간 곳은 록펠러 센터에요. 마침 저희가 이곳을 갔던 날이 이스터 데이라고 해서 미국에서의 명절 중 하나에요. 이 때에는 색깔을 입힌 달걀과 토끼과 대표적이라서 이스터버니와 달걀 모형들을 볼 수 있었어요.

  The very first place we've been in NewYork was Rockfeller Center. The day we went there was Easter Day which is one of the biggest holidays in America. Easter Bunny and colored eggs are the symbole of the holiday, so I could see them.

센트럴 파크 (Central Park)

록펠러 센터를 다음으로 간 곳은 센트럴 파크 에요! 뉴욕이라는 큰 도시에 이렇게 큰 공원이 있을 거라고 생각도 못할 만큼 커요! 그리고 말들이 마차에 사람들을 싣고 공원을 돌아다녀요. 한국에서 한 번도 보지 못해서 신기했어요. 그리고 많은 사람들이 운동하고 있어서 미국 영화나 드라마에서 보던 뉴요커들이다 라고 생각했어요 ㅋㅋ.

The next place from Rockfeller Center was Central Park! It is as big as can't imagine this big park is in one of the biggest cities in the world! It was cool that horses are carrying people who are in carriage which is I've never seen it in Korea. And I though the people who were running are the newyorkers who are usually in the movies and dramas of America lol.

점심을 먹고 간 곳은 바로 메트로 폴리탄 박물관 이에요! 규모가 큰 박물관이었는데요, 여러나라의

 After lunch, we went to Metropolitan Museum of Art! It is pretty big one and has a lot of and various exhibitions

힙합클래스 (HipHop Dance Class)

이번에은 힙합클래스! 실제로 유명한 춤 학원에 가서 정말 재밌는 선생님과 함께 즐겁게 춤을 배웠어요. 선생님이 춤을 추시는데 어찌나 멋있으시던지 ㅎ 2~3시간 정도로 짧지만 저한테는 이 날에 정말 멋있는 곳을 가서 재밌었지만, 춤 추는 거를 좋아해서 이시간이 제일 재밌었던 것 같아요.

This is HipHop Class! We'd actually been to famous dance academy to learn little bit dance. The teacher was awesome. This was the best part for me in the things that I've done in this day, even if it was very short, about 2~3 hours.Because I do like dancing.

타임스퀘어(Time Square)

재밌었던 힙합클래스를 마치고 저녁을 먹기위해 Hard Rock Cafe라는 곳인데 타임스퀘어에 위치해있어서 타임스퀘어로 향했어요. 전에도 한번 Hard Rock Cafe를 갔던 적이 있었는데, 그곳과는 다르게 정말 컸던 것 같아요. 기념품가게도 잇고, 무대도 있고! 거기서 맛있는 저녁도 먹고, 그 후에 타임스퀘어에서 사진도 많이 찍었어요. 그때 비가 왔어도 실제로 본 저녁의 타임스퀘어는 정말 굉장하더라구요, 사람들도 많고, 큰 전광판들도 많고. 교환학생친구들과 사진도 찍으면서 또 하나의 추억을 만들었어요!
We went to the TimeSquare to get dinner after the fun hiphop class,called Hard Rock cafe which is located in TimeSquare. Actually, I've been the cafe before, but the timesquare one is even bigger and has souvenir shop and the stage! I got the dinner with friends, and after the dinner we've gone outside to take pictures and hang out at timesquare. The actual looking timesquare is amazing, and cros even if the day we've been there was rainy. I'd made very nice memories in TimeSquare.

4월1일(April 1st)

뉴욕에서의 두번째 날에는 엠파이어스테이트빌딩,그랜드센트럴역,월스트리트가,브루클린 다리, 소호,그리고 차이나타운을 갔어요! 이 날에도 간 곳이 참 많았네요! 간 곳도 많아서 사진도 많이 찍고 많은 추억들을 남기고왔어요.

The second day was for Empire State Building,Grand Central Station, Wall Street, Brooklyn Bridge, Soho,and Chinatown. I've been a lot of places in the day,too! By going many places, I could've taken alot of pictures and memories.

둘째날 처음으로 간 뉴욕의 명소는 바로 엠파이어스테이트 빌딩 이에요! 엠파이어스테이트 빌딩은 뉴욕에서 높은 건물들 중 하나인데요, 층수가 무려 100층이 넘는데요. 저희는 86층까지만 가서 거기서 모든 뉴욕의 높은 건물들을 한눈에 아래로 볼수 있었는데요, 정말 멋졌어요.
그리고 엠파이어스테이트 빌딩이 살면서 꼭 가봐야할 곳들 중에 하나라는데요, 제가 인생에서 꼭가봐야할 곳 중 한곳을 가서 뭔가 해낸 느낌?이었어요! 기회가 되면 꼭 한 번 가보세용:))
The first in the day was Empire State Building! This is one of the tallest buildings in NewYork, it is more than 100 floors. We went to only 86th floor to look down all of the buildings in New York. So I could see all of the buildings in newyork. It was really amazing. And Empire State Building is one of the places that have to go before die. I felt like I've done one of them! You should try to be there:))

그랜드센트럴역(Grand Central Station)

100th anniversay of Grand Central Station

이곳은 세계에서 가장 큰 기차역, 그랜드센트럴역이에요!
2013년이 지금의 그랜드센트럴역의 형태가 세워졌던 때라서 100이라는 큰 숫자가 창문에 써있었어요.
This is the biggest station in the world, Grand Central Station!

The year,2013 is the 100th anniversary of that the Grand Central Station's gotten current structure since 1913, so the number,100 is on the big windows.

그곳에서 일본,독일,이탈리아,브라질,프랑스에서 온 교환학생친구들과 점심도 먹고,역도 돌아다니면서 사진찍었어요. 앞으로 다신 없을 추억 중 하나였어요! 왜냐면 제가 언제 다 다른 나라에서 온 친구들이랑 공통언어인 영어로 소통하면서 같이 여행을 다녔다는 거 자체가 정말 잊지 못할 추억인 것 같아요!

I had a lunch at Grand Central Station with the exchange students from Italy,Germany,Japan,Brazile,and France! We hung out at there by taking pictures. Isn't it cool to hang out with the foreigners from various countries by communicating in the language, English in the NewYork City? This is one of the favorite things in this trip.And it became nice memories .

4월2일(April 2nd,2013)

뉴욕에서 바쁘고 재밌는 시간을 지내다보니가 어느새 마지막이 날이 되었었네요. 마지막으로 뉴욕을 구경할 수 있는 날이라서 아쉽기도 했지만, 그 동안 뉴욕구경을 잘 한 것 같아서 더 즐길 수 있었던 날이었던 것 같아요! 이 날에는 자유의여신상,타임스퀘어(점심),유엔,브로드웨이를 갔어요.
Already the day was the last day in NewYork. Because the day was the last day, I could enjoy the trip more, even though It was little sad that the day was the last chance to look around NewYork.We went to Statue of Liberty,TimeSquare,UN,and Broadway in the day.

 뉴욕이라 생각하면 가장 먼저 떠오르는 바로 자유의여신상이에요! 작년 여름에 왔던 허리케인 샌디 때문에 보수공사를 하는 중이라서 가까이 가지는 못하고, 보트를 타고서 봤지만, 사진으로만 보던 자유의여신상을 실제로 보니까 신기하기도 하고, 멋있었어요!
The Statue of Liberty is the most famous thing of NewYork! Unfortunately, because of the hurricane, sandy, we couldn't get close to it, but it was still amazing!

이날에 점심은 타임스퀘어에서 먹었는데요, 밤에 보는 타임스퀘어도 정말 멋지지만, 낮에보는 타임스퀘어도 다른 느낌이지만 좋더라구요! 
We ate lunch at TimeSquare, it is cool at night, but also cool at afternoon!

타임스퀘어에 있는 Foever 21위에는 정말 큰 전광판이 있는데요, 거기서 내가 지나가는 것도 볼 수 있고, 또 화면에 재밌는 문구들도 나와서 신기해서 사진을 찍었어요.

 Very big electronic display is above Forever21, located in TimeSquare. People could see theirselves on it which is fun. So we took picture of it.

 유엔 (UN,United Nations)

이번에는 바로 유엔이에요! 유엔이라는 곳이 저에게 더 뜻깊은 장소 였던 것 같아요. 그 이유는 바로 한국인인 반기문 사무총장님이 현재 유엔에서 일을 하고 계시기 때문이죠!  

This is UN,Unied NationS, which is the meaningful place for me. The reason is the UN Secretary General  is Korean!

안으로 들어가면은 여러나라의 사진들과 그에 관한 설명들이 있는데요, 그 중에 지금까지의 유엔 사무총장님들의 사진들이 전시되어있는데요, 그 중에 가장 오른쪽에 바로 반기문 사무총장님의 사진이있으세요! 그거를 보는 순간 한국인이라는 게 얼마나 자랑스럽던지!
When I got there, There are pictures and explanations for some countries and pictures of the secretary generals who UN's had since it was founded, one of them is Ki-moon Ban who is Korean! I was so proud that I am Korean when I saw the picture.

브로드웨이쇼, 맘마미아(Broadway Show, Mammamia)

The very last event I had was Broadway musical, Mammamia! I'd wanted to watch this musical, and expected  because it is a broad way show. It was great which the circumstance is expected.
