Hi guys :) I’ve been too busy lately, and I didn’t have time to tell you guys about my American life. Sorry about that.
 
But today, I’m gonna talk about my awards night. I got two awards this month, and I wanted to tell you guys about this great experience!
 
One is from Visalia unified school district. I got the invitation on that day. It was because my host mom wanted to keep this secret and surprise me. Yes, of course, I was surprised. But at the same time, I was so excited about that.
 
I didn’t even expect about this, and no... actually I haven't thought about this.
  
  


 
When I got there, it surprised me again, because there were just students in seniors and I was the only Junior, and foreign exchange student. My award was about language development growth an outstanding student, and my English teacher recommended me for this.

  





 
My principal gave a speech about me. I summarized a little bit for you guys. Says ”Dahye Sohn is a foreign exchange student from South Korea. She is a hardworking and dedicated student. She always completes all of her assignments and requests extra works. She wanted to be a role model for the other students. She has a greats study habit, and she is interested in learning English. She always asks questions whenever she doesn't understand. Dahye Sohn tries her best. Says Ms.Liang Dahye has my highest recommendations. Very proud, honor, Dahyr Sohn El Diamante high school’s language development growth outstanding student.”
 
 
I was so proud, happy about this. Also, I got a medal! But for now, I want to say thank you for everyone who supported me to get here :)
  
  



 
 
 
And I got another award, which was for the students who had more than 3.67 GPA last semester. last semester, I had all A except my history class(now I have all A and my GPA is 4.0) and I think my GPA was like 3.87.
 
 
 
This Award was for everyone who had a high GPA, So there was a lot of people in our school, and I got a letter from there.
   







  
 
It was a great experience, and I won’t ever forget this. Again, thank you, everyone :)
