Hello everyone This is Ju Yeon from Oregon. How have you guys been doing?I’ve been so busy these past few days but I decided to write about how AWESOME Grand Canyon Trip was. Because I really want to tell and show everybody how beautiful it was. I went to Grand Canyon Trip with about 35 exchange students for 3days. All the exchange students were from every different countries like Germany, Italy, Brazil, China, Japan, Korea, Sweden and Thailand. Even we were from different countries we got along so quick and so well as soon as we met each other. Because we have common point that we are exchange students and I think that’s why we could understood each other very well. First day, we stayed in our camping place and basically spent time with all the other exchange students to get to know each other more. We played soccer, ping-pong, card games, mafia game, finding gold and at night we even had dance party which was so much fun.       Second day, we went to Grand Canyon National Park to see beautiful views of Grand Canyon. As I expected, it was amazing. Every places we saw there were just so amazing that I can’t even find right word to describe. And I made tons of photo there with my camera and my heart. Because I want to rememberthis beautiful nature forever. On the way back, Sarah who was one of our shepherd asked us does anyone want to sing some songs in the bus and I sang I’m Yours by Jason Mraz. Honestly I was surprised by me being so brave that I decided to sing in front of many people. I think speech class I’m taking this semester helped me gaining courage and self-confidence.    For the last day of trip, we went souvenir shopping in Sedona. Sedona was beautiful. I and other Korean girl got the cutest souvenir and had delicious ice cream. At night we had the best camp fire. Students from each countries sang a easy song in their native language and taught the song to other students. I and other Koreanexchange students sang a song called “귀요미송” which was popular one time maybe still it is and surprisingly everybody really liked it. Anyway It was so cool to learn all the different kind of songs in other language. It was hard for everybody to say goodbye to each other even we spent time together only for 3days. I was surprised that we all made such a deep relationship in a short time. I’m so thanked to all the exchange students, shepherds, and ETC for made me wonderful memory.
