Hi everyone!!! I'm the 20th exchange student of U.S. My name is Kim Jin Woo. Ummm,,, This is the first time to write the report. Oh,,, why I use English? I'm sorry for that but I have a reason. At first, there is no Korean word to type. Furthermore, Downloading Korean? it's too hard and difficult. I'm kind of Computer disabled, so I don't know how to use it well. So, it's more comfortable to me write in English.
However, I hope that it will be good to you to read this in English for inproving your English skill. For example, In U.S. we should take a English class and they assign homework that read page to xx to xx. And in my opinion I have a trouble with it. I don't read book in English so I'm too slow to read it. So, it's hard to me. In my opinion, student who planned to go U.S. may practice to read book in English.

By the way, let me introduce me. I called in 'Juno' in U.S. Because it's hard to pronounce and remember to U.S. people of my real name[JinWoo]. For example, my spanish teacher[Ms.godsey[In U.S. we don't talk to teacher as teacher. We talk to Ms. .... Mr....]]. She try to call me my real name ''JinWoo'' but she just says what she want to say. Like Chuno OR Joh Woo. Also, one thing I know few days ago, Juno was the famous movie name in U.S.[I new in U.S.] So, my buddies are easy to remember and pronounce my name. In U.S. they usually say like''Hi XXXX[Juno]~ So,in my opinon, you may think about your name to use in U.S. If your name is easy to pronounce to Native student then it's okay but it's hard, I suggest you should modify you name. For instance, I know a another exchange student from Indonesia and his name is zadley. And it's hard to pronounce and remember it.
Hmm.. I think it's alright to introduce myself! Then let's go to the my U.S. lifestory!!!     Go Go! Go!!!!

2009 08 25. The most nervous and most expect day of in my entire adolescent. I go to U.S.!!!!! WOW!
I was planned to go 25th morning with other bunch of korean kids at 3rd exchange student, but I am going lately because of my airline ticket. Anyway, I ride directly course of Incheon airport to New York airport. I go with 3 exchange student, one is AIFS and other one is other organization. We sat in 12 hours in the airline. I watch movie and TV program of Korea lastly.... It was sad. By the way, we arrive at New York airport around 8 p.m. Then I called to Hanedu by lented cellphone[they lented to us for using it] and each of 3 call to parent that I arrive. There is an episode in airplane. One of my group member is kind, and he have a request to land down the baggage by the old man. And he said 'yes' and he landed the baggage. And he try to help pull it until the outside of airplane[It takes few minute, because people are crowed in airplane but the exit width is limited]. However, after that, the old man said ''that baggage is not mine''[I don't see what happended exactly, but he told to me] So, we called airline officier and he just says pulled it and set down 'the baggage found'[the container belt that we found the baggage after the airline is landed]. We got test? of entrance. And my mistake started that. The officer says ''take off your cap'' and I don't understand, so I ask to him again, and he just show the body langauge. It was embarrassed. As you know the pronounation in U.S. and Korea is really different. Like when we watch the CNN or AP news, we may hear what announcer's ton. Unfortunately, some people don't talk like that. So when you go first, it hard to understand what people says to you. Anyway, we found our baggage and try to go out. Then we have a small problem again. It's hard to found out! Every baggage looks similar. Well, you should attach the things on your baggage.[I just try to explain lttile because it just almost 1 hour passed!] Anyway, we just out of New York Airport then meet the AIFS officer. I said we are 3 when we depart. Beok-Suk and I are in AIFS and other one is other organzation, but he mistakely follow our ALFS officer. So he ride a wrong car. [Actually he should ride airline again.] And the middle of the our destination, the AIFS officer call to the main officer and she says we must be 2 but there are 3 kids sat in his backseat, so he wonder and ask to us. After the conversation, he know one should be in other place. The officer mad to him and he just swearing to him. He said ''what the fxxx why I should I go back to there, what do you want to me do I landed? you on here?'' And he swearing more.
One guy said ''sorry sorry sorry'' several time. It was terrible. Anyway, after he go back to airport, we just move to our orientation hotel. Of course, we are late, and all the ceremony was ended! OH my gosh!
However, officer says 25th wasnot important day, the real important one is started on 26th. So I feel better that time. Anyway, we go to our room.. And guess what? We have a mexican Roomate. He is awesome
I willl ended with the pictures.
Next day, 8/26/09 Thursday
Today, I woke up early 6 p.m and go to eat breakfast. I think it's almost similar menu in all over the world of breakfast. I ate bacon......[you know] Then 2 hour later we come down back and play 'catch ball' with other exchange student. Raul and other german students are really good at sports... I? not really.
Anyway, we ride a bus to tour of New York.  and...

He is on the left [Raul] from Mexico and who from Korea[ME!!!] is on the right

After we finish our lunch, we move to Time Square. It's really cool. I saw LG and Samsung's advertisement! It makes proud of me!!!

Because of U.S. have a econimic recession, they have those kind of things. Also, personal bike!.
Anyway, we went to the Apple company, and many many famous brand store. Also, Raul buy sunglasses from R/X/ about 70$!!!! Amazing... It's expensive! :(

And then we eat the dinner. Menu? Hanburger and potates. We eat dinner with another exchange student from German. However, I can't take picture...... I'm sooooo sorrrrry.

And then we come back to hotel and take a orientation. They ask some question, and German student raise their hands directly!!!! SOOOO amazing things. They are all fill with confidence. Then we come back to our room. I am kinda shy to talk to other nation country students. So I just lay on the bed, but Raul dragged their friends!!! This is Another exchange student of German. They look really friendly, but this is the 2nd day of they met each other. This is our room about 3 am. We just talk every night. Then we should go our town, so dismissed.
Germans are sooooo nice and cool. And they are usually hot, like when you think of foreigner, you may think about Americans. But the people who look like real foreigners are German. Almost of them are blond. And high noses and double eye line and think, big eyes, V line chick. They all look like a Jessica!!!!![Girls Geranation :)] and like a star.
By the way, I went to airport and send a baggage myself..... :) There are some help but I did almost.
Then we hug with AIFS officer actually one is a U.S. student. It feel weird!!!!!!!!! When we dismiss? Hug with girl? It never ever happended in Korea.
Anyway, I go into airport with 3 students. Beok-Suk and other german and Me!! This is the pictures of me and german student. Unfortunately, Beok-Suk go first... :(

I suggest, if you meet other exchange student in orientation, I think it's good to talk and be friends with them. I'm regretting now that why I don't act more actively.

Then I go to detroit airport. So from New-York to Detroit to Lexington. At first I arrive at detroit. I was very nervous. Because, there isn't written the gate in my boarding pass. Fortunately, kind officer let me know about what is my gates. So I go to there and while I waiting for 3 hours, I met patrica.
